To strengthen families by utilizing community and personal support systems which contribute to the well-being of families and their children.

- Support services to prevent children from coming into care
- To reduce the risk of trauma that can be affected by neglect and abuse
- To create a support system that prevents and works at a micro and macro level
- The support system can be immediate working with at risk families, or one that works towards something where long term outcome is achievable (community development)

- To build capacity at the agency level to promote the best practices and community driven services
- Enhance planning options to youth so they could successfully achieve independence as adults
- Ensure children and families live in a stable and safe environment by providing services in the community to keep children in their homes and community rather than coming into care

- Parenting/life skills classes and public education workshops
- Referrals/case planning
- Support system based on client needs and case plan

- Create and participate in community programming and service needs
- Work with resources in the community and collaborate on planning for families and children

- Self-referral – go to see worker and identify your needs
- Community referral – from the school, health center, and concerned family members
- CFS referral – referred by MLTC child protection worker
