Pandemic Response Coordinator

Flying Dust First Nation is seeking a highly motivated and hardworking individual to oversee our pandemic department. This individual will be the key resource and central point of contact related to COVI D-19. As well as all emergency related concerns in the community of Flying Dust First Nation. The selected candidate will work under the supervisions of the Health & Wellness Manager.

This individual will be responsible for:

  • Assist with emergency preparedness and emergency response.
  • Assist with Return-To-Work programs/plans.
  • Coordinating meetings upon request.
  • Coordinate and organize the needs of the community during the Pandemic, ie: food security.
  • Ensure the Pandemic Plan is being followed.
  • Work closely with ALL department managers.
  • The ordering, storing & disbursement of supplies.
  • Report on funding agreements.
  • Liaison with ICS, SHA, NITHA and other agencies.
  • Demonstrate the ability to deal with situations at the highest discretion and confidentiality

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least a minimum 2 years’ experience in the health field
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License
  • Reliable and own transportation
  • Emergency Response Training
  • First Aid/CPR
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent Organizational Skills and Time Management
    CPIC required
  • Must lead a healthy lifestyleApplication Process
